In the year 2000 on Antiparos, Andonis Marianos founded his company the Cycladic Cruises. His aim was to introduce as many visitors as possible to the unique beauty of the Cyclades so that they too could come to know the magic and mystery of these islands just as he had come to know them, and love them, from a child. So, in that same year, from the port town of Naxos, the company’s first boat the ALEXANDER departed on her maiden voyage for the island of Delos. From the year 2000 until today, the thousands of visitors disembarking from the ALEXANDER have lived some of the most unforgettable moments of their holidays.
The Alexander departs for Santorini from the port of Naxos or from Piso Livadi, Paros. Following a two hour journey through the blue Aegean waters where you have the opportunity to enjoy the most breathtaking views, you arrive at the port of Athinios. There begins a round tour of the island by bus, in the care of a tourist guide who will introduce you to the island, giving information in Greek, English and Italian. The complete length of your stay in Santorini is 8 hours which includes stops for walks in the village of Oia and the main town of Fira.
The Alexander departs from the port of Naxos or Naousa, Paros. It needs just 45 minutes to drop anchor at its first destination, the "floating" archeological museum of Delos. With three hours available, you will have plenty of time to discover and admire the archeological ruins of one of the largest and most organised settlements of Ancient Greece. After leaving Delos, the next stop is at Mykonos with a stay of four hours. There you will have the opportunity to enjoy and explore the beautiful alleyways of the irresistible Little Venice, the windmills and many other sights. You can simply use your free time on the island taking pleasure in walks around its many shops or numerous restaurants and coffee shops along the beach.
